EDIT (March 27, 2007): In light of the terrible news that Duaner Sanchez will require another surgery on his shoulder, I am changing my earlier prediction of a 101-61 season by the Mets this year. My new prediction is 96-66. All other predictions remain the same.

I'm not up on all the teams, so I'll only predict a few things...
This will be similar to 1985. We will be major contenders but just a piece or two away...
The Mets will win 92 games and make the wild card thanks to a late surge from the pitching staff.
Lastings Milledge will be playing regularly by July.
John Maine will win 15 or more games.
The Mets will not win the World Series, but will lose it in 7 to the Tigers because their starters are not quite there yet. They will win in 2008... easily, barring anything bad happening.
Beltran and Wright will split the NY vote for MVP and Pujols will win it.
Pedro will NOT be a major factor this year...a 500 pitcher at best.
