I just dont like them, i spend whats in my account and thats it, [CENSORED] interest.

I just got an ESPN Visa card with a $20,000.00 limit and I got it just for the balance transfer option. I had 6 credit cards between the wife and I and three of them had balances of over $3000 because of all the bridge work I had done on my teeth this past year. I have transferred all the balances to the new ESPN card and now pay 0% interest on it untill April 2008 and I should have it all paid off by then.

All the other ones except for the Dodge Rewards card (also a 20,000) are being cancelled as of today.

Well, let's see......

They were all paid off and then I had to spend $8000.00 getting dental work done. My wife spent another $2000.00 on dental work. And we went to Sea World which cost us about $1000.00.

I don't consider that living beyond our means. The Credit cards we have are basically for emergencys & Vacations. That's exactly what we use them for. Everything else is paid in cash.

I agree with your conservative nature, but you need to consider that using a credit card responsibly will eventually help build your credit score which will be important after college for getting loans for cars, places to live, etc.

Exactly. I had a credit score in the 400's untill about 25 years old and now in the last 4 years it has jumped to the mid-720's. One thing I was never taught was how important credit really is. You need those small cards, put balances on them and pay them off periodically to be able to establish a credit history and then when the time comes for cars, homes, etc... - you will have a decent score.

How is it humanly possible that we aren't sponsoring the baseball reference Kaz Matsui page? That's almost a no-brainer for $20...everyone who posted a bad joke on the Matsui Facts thread should donate and then we can put a link to our team shop where people can buy the Kaz Matsui fact t-shirts.

Anyone wanna sponsor Fran Healy for $10? We can come up with someone good to write.

Let's just sponsor everyone we hate. Mel Rojas anyone?

There's a reason you get this message when you click to sponsor Matsui's page:

Quote:
Thank you for your interest, but this page is not available. We hope you will consider choosing another page.

Godzilla's hometown has a Kaz Matsui alarm. Still the best one.

It is a good strategic move...forces people to join to read the facts. If only Jesus was available.

25 of us get together for "Brett Myers Wifebeater Night" we can get discounted tickets in the same section and the Metsrefugees.com web address on the scoreboard. We'd all have to wear the wifebeaters shirt someone came up with of course.

btw fellas i put the put the link under my sig on realgm.com ... hopefully more met fans would come.

btw ... when the forum gets the new look and if you really want to give it a kickass look and have more popularity ... you should have a seperate knick forum, net forum, ranger forum, islander forum, devils forum, and i regret saying this but a skankee forum.

it's a suggestion but think about all the users you'll get Shocked

we have 1115 registered met fans ... imagine having all those other fans, we're talking 352136346732723547 users.

I dont see why everyone wants to grow so much... the more is not always the merrier. Growing a little at a time is good, but if we burst out we will have problems.
