YES GO TO A TEAM SAYING THAT...BWHAHAHAHA, WATCH HOW YOU GET SCREWED!!

Tell me how Cincinnati would not want Milledge or Gomez???? OOO cause they want to get young!!! like you want the mets to get!!!!

Tell me...who plays OF for Toronto when Rios and Wells are gone???? Who pitches for them???

You backward cunt.

I cannot believe just how fucking stupid you are.

ok...and since Rios is on a team with Wells, who is out of there soon, and since they have no BP or pitching after Halloday, who do we trade?

I bet you Toronto asks for Milledge and Gomez as a starting price!!!! Should we throw in Pelfrey just to sweeten the deal???

I would love Rios

Why is Wells out of there?

he's not. he just signed a long term deal.

IF either him or rios is available (doubtful) probably wells is more
available just because of that contract.

There's a reason they gave him that contract. They wanna build their team around him. He's not gonna be traded, no way.

i agree, they arent going to trade wells. They probably arent going to trade Rios...they need pitching!!! you think they will take Pelfrey for Rios, YOUR A FUCKING MORON!!! Which means lets throw in Milledge to replace Rios..BUT O WAIT...MILLEDGES TRADE VALUE HAS DECLINED, SO LETS NOW THROW IN GOMEZ OR MARTINEZ!!

but what do I know, I am only a backwards cunt!! Rolling Eyes

name calling...nice way to get far in life

they also thought they were fielding a winner this year.

thoughts change.

they could easily start to see that contract as a big noose.

i don't think either is available so it's a pointless discussion but
if one were available it would be the older guy with the fat paycheck.

Hammer the fucking voice of reason...THANK YOU!!!!!

Their pitching is in the shitter and your not going to trade away a productive OF like Rios without replacing him with you talent next to Wells. Rios trade value is insanely high...MEANING YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE UP ALOT...MEANING GOODBYE AT LEAST MILLEDGE AND GOMEZ OR PELFREY!!

way to piss away your trading chips right away! Someone said 3 prospects for two positions. Now your down to 1 prospect (WHO MAY PAN OUT!!).

I'd make this happen:

Reyes
Beltran
Griffey
Wright
Delgado
Green
Pornstache
LoDuca

Griffey wont do it...he said no once to the Mets...he wont say yes.

Side Note - He would probably demand Beltran be moved to RF or LF so he can play CF.

Shawn Green.

The Mets that Griffey said no to weren't the same Mets. We're actually a respected franchise now. Laughing

Eh, they may not have much of a choice whether to trade him or not with him being due a nice big pay raise next year. It would make sense to get some pitching for him. You are probably talking a Milledge, Pelf + Heilman package though for something like Rios + Tallet or Scott Downs would be nice.

Reasons why he'd come:

He's running out of years to play on the big stage.

His dad played with our manager in New York, and they're close.

Another aging OF is not the answer. I'd stay away from Griffey.
